This article showed pictures of legs that bowed because of rickets and talked about how muscle pain and bone aches are common in these diseases. What they found was that the group with more vitamin D had improvement in their blood sugar levels. I think this is really interesting, and helpful to know because even if we dont have diabetes, the fact that vitamin D makes an impact on people that do, sheds light on the fact that maybe vitamim D could help prevent it, by keeping a steady and balanced blood sugar level.
